Creative link for pallet reuse
kia ora,
I have picked up 5 pallets which I plan to use to make a compost bin. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pallet_crafts for other great ideas for what to do with pallets - this lists some great projects, many with really good instructions and pictures, so I may be looking for more!

Cooff husks prove valuable
Hi Alice
Picked up 2 big bags of husks today to trial as garden mulch. If it works out Ill take lots more. Also ook a whole lot of coffee sacks. I have plans to use them as garden weed matting and make the ones with nice coffee prints on them into shopping bags.
Thanks!!
Pauline

Gardens love coffee!
Thanks Alice, I will be in town tomorrow and I will go to Cafe Laffare and pick up some of the husks.
One of my friends loves this sort of thing for her garden so I will share what I take with her. She lives in Lyall Bay, a bit closer to the beach than me.
